Tropical Stinger Hot Sauce

Because of an abundance of hot peppers from my garden, I needed to find more ways to use them, so I decided to experiment with making my own hot sauce. I came up with a unique flavor combo and recipe using tropical flavors and honey (hence the name "Tropical Stinger") and decided to turn it into something I could sell. So after the recipe came the branding and label design. These are my label explorations and concepts, which were then focused grouped amongst my friends to narrow it down to the final product.

Initial label ideas and designs. The main flavor profiles of the sauce are pineapple, lime and honey, so I wanted to focus the designs around bee and pineapple imagery, while also showing it has a good level of heat.

Final label design. I think the bee made out of pineapple slices is a great eye catching visual to get people curious about trying the sauce.
